Hi all – BBC Voices is running the first ever Norfolk Music Video Festival this summer – and we'd love you to take part.
The Festival will take place on the new giant screens in Fusion at The Forum in Norwich. The screens are 60' wide – the largest digital screens in Europe.
This is one of just a handful of Music Video Festivals of its kind in the country so should get lots of publicity and be really popular.
The idea is that we would screen videos of new music acts from Norfolk – and of video makers from Norfolk who have made video of new music acts elsewhere in the country.
Fusion launches in early April and will be open – free of charge – to the public, Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm.
The Festival will be a great way of getting a new audience for the Norfolk Music scene – and to showcase the amazing videos made for Norfolk acts.
The Festival will run from Monday 29th June to 11th July – and will coincide with Hot City Sounds (www.myspace.com/hotcitysounds).
It's not a competition – but we do need your videos and some info about yourselves.
So if you'd like to take part with your music and your video in the first ever Norfolk Music Video Festival – send us your email to norfolkintroducing@bbc.co.uk so we can send you an entry form and details of how to submit your films.
BBC Voices also has a brand new Open Studio at The Forum and we hope we get the chance to do some interviews with local acts to alongside the videos.
We really hope you want to take part and make this a great event.
